ABOUT US
...because a great door for effective work has opened to me...1 Corinthians 16:9 NIV
PriceLe$$ Thrift, Corp serves as a multi-faceted thrift store:
-
We are a mobile thrift store. We set up as 'pop-up' shops and vendors within the community, i.e. at churches, apartment complexes, and flea markets per request and/or by appointments.
-
We sell gently used clothes and merchandise at an affordable price.
-
We serve as a resource for volunteerism, completing community service hours or senior projects, and assistance with benevolence and outreach.
-
We provide self-enhancement workshops and classes, i.e. cursive handwriting, public speaking, creative writing, budgeting & finance, etc. *
-
We deliver requested merchandise to customers with disabilities or other hardships, which makes it difficult for them to attend the event.
The proceeds from the sale of the merchandise, the fundraisers, and financial contributions provide supplies and preparation for the classes, assist with satisfying needs in hardship situations, gifts for volunteers, cleaning costs to provide clothing loans for interviews, and other internal costs. "The programs and services are the priceless part of PriceLe$$"
Tangible and monetary donations are always welcomed. However, please note, with Priceless being structured as a Corporation, donations are NOT tax deductible. They are given as a token of generosity and considered 'in kind'. It simply shows total support of my mission. However, per the donor's request, you can be kept abreast, per quarter, of PriceLe$$'s functions.
*I will travel to your location for workshops and classes. Individuals are $20 per hour (based on a sliding scale fee) and groups of 10+ (contracts are available)

INVENTORY AND MERCHANDISE
"If you build it they will come"
Field of Dreams (1989)
Our inventory stays stocked due to the generosity of our donors. Donations come from our loyal customers, and our community family. Having an impressive stock guarantees customers a variety of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.
No matter the occasion or affair, we have something for you. Whether it's casual or formal clothing, household items, children's toys or hardware, the selection is 'priceless'. We hand-select our inventory to guarantee only clean, new and/or gently used clothing and merchandise. Since June 2021, we’ve served and satisfied all bargain hunters from Texas to NC.
Our low prices attract customers, but our tasteful, trendy products and fun perks keep you coming back to discover what new surprises we have 'in store', get it, lol? When you arrive at the site, look around and enjoy our Rummage Section, if applicable. That's priced at a $1.00 each time it's set up. Or you can enjoy "Pack-a-sack". Pack as many items in a small bag for $5 or a large one for $10. Here's the catch! The bag cannot topple over, nor can the handles break. You can do it! Lastly, feel free to Make a Deal if you see an item you like, but it is not quite affordable.
Our helpful sales associates and volunteers are always on hand to point out new arrivals and assist with your shopping needs. We select, and bring merchandise that fits the event. So, if you don't see something in particular, or a size you need; please do not hesitate to ask. We can make other accommodations to satisfy your needs and get the product to you.
Methods of Payments: We accept cash, and all major credit cards (No Checks)
Cashapp, Paypal, Zelle, and Venmo

BENEVOLENCE AND OUTREACH
…Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine you did for me…Matthew 25:40NIV
We pride ourselves on being a resource in the community for hardship situations. We are always readily and available to assist wherever and whenever possible.
My goal is to be a resource in the community, to aid a hurting world by helping [at least] one person or situation at a time.
Your request for help has to be accompanied by a referral from your church, school, or reputable community resource.
From time to time, PriceLes$$ will showcase raffles and host fundraisers to assist particular needs. These are usually advertised in advance for larger participation. And, in most cases, the raffles, you do not have to be present to win.
If you can't make it to us, we will come to you. But, please make us aware of your situation in advance

VOLUNTEERISM AND
COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS
“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” – Gandhi.
Volunteers are an essential part of PriceLe$$. I salute nothing but my hat, honor, and respect to them. These people are the true tithers. They constantly give their time, talent, and treasures to be a vital part of the business and the community.
Ages start at nine years old. That's a great age to have an impact on serving. Volunteering builds: Good work ethic, a sense of responsibility, accountability, independence, empowerment, and service to the community. My dad broke the word COMMUNITY down as Come-Unity meaning we're all in this together, and together, makes us better!
PriceLe$$ is open for people who need to complete community service hours and for high school seniors to complete their senior projects for graduation. These services can be met by assisting with setting up, breaking down, and cleaning up. Also bagging, folding, sorting, etc. is available. There's always work to be done.
Volunteer and Community Service hours are kept in a log and distributed to the necessary person and/or organization upon completion.
DONATIONS
Giving Back and Paying It Forward
PriceLe$$ Thrift, SPC welcomes donations of items you no longer desire. By donating these new or pre-owned items, we can sell them at a discounted, affordable rate for low-income and/or disadvantaged families.
We firmly believe in giving back and paying it forward to our local community and also our far-away families. Your generous donations will help us do so. Not only are tangible donations accepted. Monetary donations are equally important to our cause. Often we get referrals for utility & rent distress, baby formula, and food shortages. If not previously mentioned, we also use financial contributions to help with printing, postage, S & H of merchandise, etc. Without your financial generosity, we are unable to fill all requests. We take referrals from DSS, churches, schools, etc. We appreciate your cooperation. It shows support of our mission and adds value to our work. ...Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work...2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NIV

ABOUT THE OWNER
"Never underestimate the power of God's love, a hug, and a smile" -Adrainne
Adrainne Renee Thompson (A Work of A.R.T) was born and raised in the rural township of Mebane, NC to the late George Wynder and Ira Belle Vinson Thompson.
She is a strong Christian woman. And always thanks God for the opportunity to represent HIM!
She received her BA degree in Human Services at Elon University. And her Qualifications as an Activity Director for Dementia clients at ACC. So, needless to say, caring for people is her motivation and compassion.
After 20 years of a managerial position at a local grocery store she retired and relocated to Texas. There she started PriceLe$$ Thrift, SPC. After the death of her beloved dad and shortly afterwards her brother, it pulled on her heart string to return home and relaunch the business there.
She has two incredibly talented and courageous children: Kelvin Lamonte and Rene'e Nicole.
She has a creative and intelligent daughter-in-law, Alisia. And she is the proudest "Grandma Bella" ever to walk the earth of three beautiful, observant, inquisitive, playful, little girls: Lyric, Kaydence, and Rhythm.
Outside of being a mother, and a grandmother, and an Entrepreneur, she is an Author, Poet, and a
Personal Caregiver.
Come by to meet her! She'll give you a warm heavenly hug and smile.
