ABOUT US

...because a great door for effective work has opened to me...1 Corinthians 16:9 NIV

PriceLe$$ Thrift, SPC  is a tri-fold entity:

  •  It is a store front that sells gently used clothes and merchandise at an affordable price.

  •  It serves as a facility for volunteerism, completing community service hours or senior projects, and a resource to assist with benevolence and outreach.

  • III.  Provides self-enhancement workshops and classes i.e. cursive handwriting, public speaking, creative writing, budgeting & finance, etc. *

The proceeds from the sale of merchandise, the fundraisers, and financial contributions provide supplies and preparation for the classes, assist with satisfying needs in hardship situations and provide clothing loans for interviews.  "The programs and services are the priceless part of PriceLe$$"

Tangible and monetary donations are always welcomed.  However, please note, with Priceless being structured as an SPC, donations are NOT tax deductible. They are given as a token of generosity and considered 'in kind'. It simply shows total support of my mission.

*I will travel to your location for workshops and classes. Individuals are $20 per hour (based on a sliding scale fee) and groups 10+ (donations are accepted and appreciated)

ALL ABOUT THE STORE

 Inventory and Merchandise

"If you build it they will come"

                               Field of Dreams (1989)

Our showroom inventory stays stocked due to the generosity of our donors. Donations come from our loyal customers, and our community family. Having an impressive stock guarantees customers a variety of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

No matter what the occasion or affair we have something for you; whether it's casual or formal clothing; household items; children's toys or hardware. The selection is 'priceless'.

We hand-select our inventory to guarantee only clean, gently used clothing and merchandise. Since 2021, we’ve served and satisfied all of the bargain hunters from Texas to NC . Feel free to look around and even enjoy our rummage section. That's priced at a $1.00 a piece everyday. Or you can enjoy "Pack-a-sack". Pack as many items in a small bag for $5 or a large one for $10. Here's the catch! The bag cannot topple over, nor can the handles break. You can do it!

Our low prices attract customers, but it's our tasteful, trendy products and fun perks that keep you coming back to discover what new surprises we have 'in store', get it, lol?

Our helpful sales associates and volunteers are always on hand to point out new arrivals and assist with your shopping needs. Our POS machine is user friendly and we accept all methods of payments.

VOLUNTEERISM & SERVICE                                 FACILITY

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” – Gandhi.

Volunteers are an essential part of PriceLe$$. My hat, honor, and respect is always off to them in salute. These people are the true tithers. They constantly give their time, talent and treasures to be a vital part of the business and the community.  Ages start as low as nine.  Volunteering builds: Good work ethic, a sense of responsibility & accountability, independence, empowerment, and service to the community. My dad broke it down as Come-Unity meaning, we're all in this together, and that makes us better!

Service Facility: PriceLe$$ opens its doors to serve as a facility for people who need to complete community service hours and for high school seniors to complete their senior projects for graduation.

We can host workshops and classes  here or just fellowship with one another in the waiting area.

You may be a stranger when you walk in, but hopefully you'll be a friend when you leave out.

 DONATIONS

Giving Back and Paying It Forward

PriceLe$$ Thrift, SPC welcomes donations of items you no longer desire. By donating these pre-owned items, we can sell them at a discounted, affordable rate for low income and/or disadvantaged families.

We firmly believe in giving back and paying it forward to our local community and also our far away families. Your generous donations will help us do so. Not only are tangible donations accepted. Monetary donations are equally important to our cause. Often times we get referrals for utility & rent distress, baby formula and food shortage. We also use financial contributions to help with printing, postage, S & H of merchandise, etc. Without your financial generosity we are unable to fill all request. We take referrals from DSS, churches, schools, etc.  We appreciate your cooperation to show support of our mission and add value to our work. ...Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work...2 Corinthians 9:6-8 NIV

ABOUT THE OWNER

"Never underestimate the power of God's love, a hug, and a smile" -Adrainne

Adrainne Renee Thompson (A Work of A.R.T) was born and raised in the rural township of Mebane, NC to the late George Wynder and Ira Belle Vinson Thompson.

She is a strong Christian woman. And always thanks God for the opportunity to represent HIM!

She received her BA degree in Human Services at Elon University. And her Qualifications as an Activity Director for Dementia clients at ACC.  So, needless to say, caring for people is her motivation and compassion.

After 20 years of a managerial position at a local grocery store she retired and relocated to Texas. There she started PriceLe$$ Thrift, SPC.  After the death of her beloved dad and shortly afterwards her brother, it pulled on her heart string to return home and relaunch the business there.

She has two incredible, talented and courageous children: Kelvin Lamonte and  Renee Nicole.

She has a creative and intelligent, daughter-in-law, Alisia. And she is the proudest "Grandma Bella" ever to walk the earth of three beautiful, observant, inquisitive, playful, little girls: Lyric, Kaydence, and Rhythm.

Outside of being a mother, and a grandmother she is an Entrepreneur, an Author, Poet, and a Personal Caregiver.

Come by to meet her! She'll give you a warm heavenly hug and smile.
